About the role

An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen to join our FIA team in Brisbane or Gold-Coast as our Business Development Manager on a permanent full-time basis.

 

Reporting to the General Manager - VET, you will take ownership of driving growth and market share by proactively establishing new business and continuing to build relationships with our existing partnerships. You will be the face of the business across the gym, partnerships and school network where our prospective clients may include students, gym owners and members, institutes, school coordinators or other relevant partners.

 

The role will involve sales development and prospecting activities such as cold calling as well as engagement-focused activities including collaborative forums and information sessions. You will also be responsible for reporting, customer service, quality and compliance and supporting quarterly and yearly budget planning.

About you

You have a genuine passion in the health and fitness industry and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Also having the following will see you well placed for success:  

 

  • Experience as a Business Development Manager and/or Sales Executive with a commercial mindset
  • Fitness industry experience and knowledge highly desirable
  • A hunter by nature who is energetic, proactive and self-motivated
  • Proven track record of generating new sales opportunities and smashing targets with a commitment to achieving results
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and analyse data
  • Qualification in Sales
